What time does the course start

The course runs 9am – 5pm, when booking public transport we recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before the course starts and leave some time after the course finishes in case the class runs over.

Can I stay over?

Yes, the accommodation is not included however we have partnered with family run 4 star hotel  – The Crown Hotel. The Crown Hotel have kindly offering our guests an exclusive discount on all accommodation. Simply call the hotel and quote Navy Educate for the best rates.

Course location

The Navy Educate course will be carried out in our dedicated school based in the quaint town of Bawtry, Yorkshire. The closest motor way is the A1 and it is approximately 15 mins from both Retford and Doncaster Train Station.

Parking & travel 

The quaint town of Bawtry has both paid and street parking, if you are staying at the Crown Hotel they also allow you to park in their carpark during your visit. Bawtry is a small town and all facilities are within walking distance.

The school has great travel links to Doncaster & Retford train stations as well as access to the A1 motorway.

Once your course booking is confirmed, the Educate team will be in touch to advise travel and parking from your location.

Pricing & Payment Methods

Can I use a discount code or voucher when booking my course?

Yes, simply add the code to your basket upon checkout. Please note brand partners codes do not work on education. 

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Full payment is to be made on booking the course.  If you wish to split the payment you can do this please contact our education team on 0114 303 5141 

Once I have paid my deposit, when is the final payment due?

We require balance payment in full 10 days prior to the course date.

Do you have a finance option to pay for courses?

Sadly we have chosen not to offer credit on courses at this time, however you can pay a deposit to secure your place, then the final balance 10 days prior to the start date of the course.

Course Queries

Are your courses accredited and what does this mean?

Yes our course is accredited by BABTAC, this means that our course is recognised and has been approved for delivery to Beauty Professionals, being accredited by BABTAC ensures the training we deliver is of a high standard.

Undertaking our accredited course also offers  8 CPD points. 

Can I transfer or cancel my course?

Cancellations made within 21 days of the course start date and/or non-attendance will incur 100% of all fees paid, we will transfer the booking to another date 

If a medical certification can be provided, the course will be transferred to a new date. Any subsequent course cancellation will incur a forfeit of all fees paid.

Will I receive a kit?

Both Knaresborough and Wensleydale packages include kits, the kits contain hygiene and accessories.

Cancellations due to COVID-19

Cancellations due to a positive COVID-19 test or requiring to self-isolate will be transferred to an alternative date. Navy Professional Ltd reserves the right to request guests take a COVID-19 test prior to attending. Test results may be provided upon request.

What happens if my course is cancelled by Navy Professional?

If Navy Educate has to close due to restrictions outside of our control, including adverse weather conditions, pandemic, flooding or industrial action, we are not able to offer refunds on courses expected to run within 21 days of closing, however the course dates will be moved to an alternative date and treated as a priority where ever possible. Travel expenses will not be covered in cases of cancellation. 

I have no qualification in nails, can I still train with you?

Navy Educate has been created for qualified Beauty Professionals, this means you must hold a level 2 + equivalent beauty certificate.

COVID-19 Requirements

PPE

When attending the school, please wear a face covering. If you do not bring a face covering, they are available to purchase on site.

Test & Trace App

On arrival at the School, you will be required to scan our Test and Trace QR code using the 

NHS app.

Hygiene

We have hand washing facilities and sanitising stations set up around the school to ensure we reduce the chances of cross contamination.

Social Distancing

We are maintaining the 1 metre rule, you will be seated 1 metre apart from other guests, we would also request that you do not share stationary and keep your belongings separate.

Pre-screening survey

Before attending the course, we will pop an email over confirming final details, within this email, there will be a link to a pre-screening survey, please fill this in to the best of your knowledge 48 hours prior to the course.

Safety Measures/ Risk Assessment

The Navy Educate team have conducted a COVID-19 risk assessment and measures have been put in place to ensure we are COVID secure. We constantly check and update these to make sure we are following all the latest government guidelines and keeping all our guests safe.

Which kit should I opt for?

Tadcaster – Great for beginners that are new to Navy and mobile professionals  – includes a Navy Educate Badge 

Wensleydale – Great for those who own a home salon or for smaller salons – includes a kit and a Navy Educate Table Display

Knaresborough – The ultimate kit, great for salon owners who have a team of professionals – includes a kit and a Navy Educate outdoor wall plaque.

When will I receive my kit?

Your kit will be waiting for you when you attend the course OR if you are travelling by public transport, we can arrange to have your kit posted FOC to your salon or home address on completion of the course.

What if I already have some of the Navy products?

Many of the items in the kits are consumables meaning even if you have them you can stock up

You can amend your account by simply signing into your account and editing the information which needs updating. If you cannot do this we can do it for you simply pop the information on a email and one of the team will make the amends for you.
